Riverwalk Massage Therapy was founded by Jessica Francica in 2019.
Jessica is a graduate from Algonquin College in Ottawa. She has been registered and is in good standing with The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2014.
She has the experience of working in physiotherapy and sports med clinics as well as spa settings with an array of targeted treatments tailored to clients conditions. She practices both therapeutic and deep tissue massage therapy related to stress, postural dysfunction, post-surgical tension and injury based conditions.
Jessica treats clients with a combination of massage therapy techniques, these include, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and stretching and strengthening to help clients get back to their daily activities and every day living.
As part of her ongoing learning and continuous professional development, Jessica has completed a specialized introductory course in craniosacral therapy, cupping therapy (level 1 and 2), Kinesio taping, IASTM (Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization) and a hip and foot mobility course.
Jessica believes there is an importance for massage therapy in everyone’s life whether it’s needed for injury based conditions or for general well being. Jessica has a tenacious sense of commitment to her client’s health and will help achieve their wellness goals with a treatment plan that best suits their needs.
